About the artwork

The painter is Alim Adilov. He is an Uzbek painter, who living in Hungary. Born in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, in 1963, his father was a graphic artist and his mother an artisan. He also spent his childhood there, drawing a lot under his parents even then, he wanted to be a purposeful artist. To that end, he attended several drawing disciplines and then graduated from a high school of fine arts; he has always strived to be the best of the best. He studied at the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, and his masters were Mojenko and Vitrugatsky. Between 1991 and 1993, he further developed his knowledge at the London Academy by completing a two-year course there. In his painting, he enjoys processing the themes he has experienced during his travels that he has encountered while traveling the world. It is most often captured by cities, houses and landscapes, but the painting of portraits and still lifes is no stranger to it either. He attaches great importance to the vivid use of color, in his words, colors enchant, and without them he would not be able to give back a thousand faces of the world. His style fits best with the classic realist definition, but he was also influenced by the work of the Impressionists. Exhibitions: He has had group exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Rostov, Tashkent, Tokyo, Wörschach, Kuala Lumpur, Budapest, Debrecen and Békéscsaba, among others. He has held solo exhibitions in London, Békéscsaba, Miskolc, Debrecen, Gödöllő, Kecskemét and Budapest, as well as in Kuala Lumpur and Puchong, Malaysia.
